Reportedly the hottest product on the market, CordiaBurn uses the “magic” of cha de bugre, which is an herb derived from ancient Brazilian medicine.  We haven’t been particularly impressed by many “Brazilian medicinal” ideas. They claim to provide thermogenic fat burning, appetite suppression, supercharged energy levels, and decreased water weight all with this one ingredient.

But honestly speaking, ANY time you see claims about water weight, you should stay away from that product! Why?  Because it guarantees that they use diuretics.  Diuretics do not promote long term weight loss, they don’t promote weight loss that will last beyond a day or two actually, which is why many UFC fighters for instance use it for weigh in and then gain as much weight as possible back within the next 24 hours.  The problem is that for those of us that don’t fight or otherwise for a living, it hurts your chances of losing weight in the future while also causing other serious side effects considering your body actually needs water weight to sustain itself.  The majority of a healthy person’s body mass or otherwise a person in general’s body mass is water.

But there is also the fact that CordiaBurn relies purely on hype.  They have 3 main ingredients, and only one of them actually promotes weight loss or rather has the potential to. Cha de bugre has not been through any successful studies on weight loss or for that matter other benefits in general.  This leads obviously to the idea that they don’t actually have any benefits at all associated with it.

But then there’s hoodia.  Hoodia has actually actively been disproven to provide any known benefits, and yes the bulk of studies conducted have been specifically studied on its appetite suppressant effect. Ultimately speaking, if you eat enough of anything, you will end up feeling full.  If you are starving on a general basis, your stomach will most likely shrink, causing you to surprise, have less of an appetite.

Their only potentially effective ingredient is citrus aurantium.  Citrus aurantium is a cousin to ephedra, and they have proposed that it will give you the benefits without the side effects. Of course, it has actually shown itself in many forms to have this effect.  The question is just this, can you actually get the right amounts?  It’s definitely not Brazilian just as hoodia is not.  It’s Chinese.  But realistically speaking, while it requires 250mg or more, they definitely do not have that.

The most common side effects that you would find with this according to the official ingredients list would be connected to caffeine, which is a bigger deal obviously if you are sensitive to caffeine.  But it’s not a huge problem. This being said, with no effects or benefits to actually balance anything out, the lack of real side effects does not really matter.  Frankly speaking, we would highly suggest that you definitely find something else.
