The part that most trainers miss as regards training (that Ive always felt) is that Olympic lifting and powerlifting are designed to move as much weight as efficiently as possible (ie as little work as possible ). Competitive kettlebell lifting is the same make the movement as efficient (and therefore as least demanding) as possible.

Bodybuilding is about creating as much tension and overload on a single muscle as possible, regardless of load (ie make everything feel heavy).

I am feeling really good about my decision to change oncologist. My first oncologist Dr. Gloom really caused me a lot of stress. Don’t get me wrong I think even if I had not had him as my doctor the cancer diagnosis alone would have caused me stress. He just made it worse with his comment about not being able to cure it when it came back. It really felt to me like he was basically saying I was going to die and I was 35 with 3 small children and death was not in my plans.

I did a lot of research on choosing my new oncologist and the facility that they would be associated with.

In a new era where one in three children are obese and where eating out is more of a norm verses a special indulgence, this is wonderful news.

I’m a law-abiding citizen.  I realize that rules are put in place for a reason – without rules there would be chaos.  But now and then, it is perfectly fine to break a few rules.  When it comes to training, the rules made by the fitness gurus are no different – there is a time a place to take these rules, and throw them out the window.

I structure the majority of my busy client’s programs with a full body set-up.  And at times when I’m extra busy, I usually jump into a full body training block.   But recently, at a time
